Ríocht woodcraft was founded by brothers Donnchadha and Eamon O’Connor.
All of our carefully handcrafted products are designed and made in our workshop in Kerry. At Ríocht woodcraft we are delighted to bring you these products which are a celebration of Irelands landscapes, unique scenery and vibrant language; An Gaeilge.
A family tradition
The O’Connor brothers come from a long line of well renowned carpenters and trades people who handed down their skills and ethos to the present generation after Donnchadha inherited his grandfather’s workshop in 2014
From his grandfather’s workshop Donnchadha began to produce high quality, hand crafted, Irish hardwood artefacts including hand turned pens, antique restorations and fine furniture
He is a qualified woodwork teacher and cabinet maker who graduated from the Lettterfrack GMIT in 2017. Donnchadha was soon joined by his brother Eamon and together they began to produce high quality and highly regarded chopping and serving boards and kitchen accessories.
The business has developed since then and continues to offer these products as well as a wide range of beautiful and unique giftware items.
